I scored this grill off of ebay. I know it was old because of the packaging. Seller said it was purchased in the late 70's.

Vents stamped A, 1979! I believe Weber used to assemble the wooden handles then weld it on the lid afterwards. The screws appear to be on the bottom side??

wood was put on the welded bracket afterwards and they used rivets. sweet ! do the handles look varnished or stained ?
