Saw this. Looks nice

You better jump on that Bruce! That looks like a nice well cared for one. Had I found a deal like that early this summer it might be one of those not Big Z on my deck. (well maybe not). I still have a concern with wood ash getting co-mingled with drippings/grease in the bottom. Which is a big reason I went with the Z and it's more "conventional" design

Larry, I have little desire to add a pellet grill to my stable. I am more of a minimalist in that regard. I am familiar with my gas frankengrill and I can do everything I want to with it. I do like the smoke flavor aspect of pellet grills though, but if I really want smoke, I can make that happen easy enough. If I was looking for a pellet grill, I would probably pull the trigger on that one. I have had it on my watch list for a couple weeks now. I am kinda watching to see if he doesn't drop the price a little more with winter coming.
That just goes to show you how the grill buying market is a lot softer up here in the rural areas than it is in metro areas. That would have sold right away if it was near Chicago or probably even Madison, WI.

Larry, was in Sams the other day and they have that pellet grill again for $199
Yeah. That is what I bought mine for. Honestly love the thing. Very well made and sturdy. Really good grates (very heavy 9mm porcelain coated). It's normally $499 and honestly it's easily worth that or more. The only thing suspect is the driver board or power board as some call it is a weak link. My buddy modded mine. He used his soldering station and sucked out all the junky non lead solder on the power connections and resoldered the board with good old fashioned lead solder. Been solid since. Though I still would like to upgrade the controller to a Bluetooth/WIFI one.

Thats one reason I got rid of my Traeger, could see the electonics as the achilles heel of those things. Sticking with my Performer and GenA. Wife really likes the Pitboss griddle too
