San Jose Lump deal

Today while I was at Cash-n-Carry picking up a brisket, I saw they had a lot of 40lb bags of lump on sale for less than $10. I'm a Kingsford man myself, but this seems like a deal to me.

Did you catch the name or type of lump? The Lazzarri mesquite lump is carried in some warehouse stores for around that price. I prefer the oak lump they make but you have to go to SSF to pick it up.

Yes, I believe it was the Lazzarri mesquite lump.

Have you bought cooking woods from them? Thei web sote says theys ell cherry, apple, etc. but I have never seen it anywhere in the stores (SJ/South Bay).

Yes they do have all those but again you have to go to their warehouse in SSF for that. I only bought a bag of hickory because I was short on cash and they ONLY take cash.
