Salt Lick Taco's

I was in Austin on business this week. Stopped for a Salt Lick Taco in the airport. Man those were good!

Tonight I thawed some PP and made up a basic sauce, dropped it on a soft shell with splinters of sweet pepper. Wow! whole new way of eating PP.

Anyone know what the sauce is at Salt Lick? It wasn't red base whatever it was.

This is the closest recipe I've ever seen to the salt lick version. Omit the habanero sauce if you don't want the spicy one. I've heard they use thousand island dressing in the original secret recipe.

For what it's worth the thing I dislike most about the salt lick is the sauce...
