S6 in Colorado 975.00

Yeah that is a smoking deal on the first generation summit charcoal grilling station. I have one and can attest to the quality of the first go around of this cooker. IMO It would be worth a few hundred bucks in fuel to buy it if I’m the market.

You guys are going to make me rent trailer and go get one of these. I love what comes off them. And how wind and cold has little affect on the also.

wow.. can you guys explain why a kettle grill would be 2500 new.. i thought it was a smoker or similar or some kind of other trick pony...

i am relatively new to grilling and webers.. so the info would be appreciated

well i found this.. so i guess the ability to hold heat long.. which is good if you are smoking.. matter of fact it is paramount but i would have to have alot of disposable income in this economy to get something like that.. and i would definitely buy used...

video makes it look so easy!

A Highlander can swallow up a lot of stuff. Back when I bought the MM Pellet Pro, I got that entire box in there. Tight fit but it got in there.

S6 Also has gas assist.
It’s more than just the table and GA. The cart is very well made. And the cost of shipping it, for Weber, is baked into the price.

The wholesale price is the “landed” price. Then a dealer gets their markup.

Since a dealer doesn’t live on $250 profit for this grill, the dealer has to make some coin too.

Why is a Chevy Suburban $80k?

We can discuss and debate price till the sky turns orange.

This is what Weber sells it for. People have a cost of running a business. Just like you have a cost of running your household.

IMO, the S6 is worth every penny. But I wouldn’t spend $5k on a Napolean gasser.

Sale price and trade in/ resale price can vary wildly depending on make and model.

Buying a used WSC or WSK is a safer bet from what I see because if you buy one and decide it’s not for you, you can probably recoup close to what you paid.

That was a consideration when I bought one.

But as it turns out, I’ll probably never know since I plan on keeping it for a very long time.

To answer your question, the WSK does it all and exceptionally well.

It’s size, versatility, usability, configurability, and fuel efficiency make it the best charcoal cooker Weber has ever made.

If you’re into charcoal and like to grill, smoke, hot and fast, low and slow, and cook just about anything on a grill, this one is it.

Now a Weber Smokey Mountain will hold more proteins but colt can only smoke. Buts it’s a dang good smoker too.

Or a 22” kettle can grill, smoke and direct/indirect but it has less grate real estate but it will use more fuel over time.

It all depends what you want to cook and how.

You can search for WSK tags here and see the many WSK cooks posted to TVWBB.

I'll bet I could get it in the back or a highlander.
So funny story on that note Dan. I bought mine in grass valley on a close out since the next Gen was coming out. Was the demo so fully assembled. I was in my wife’s suburban buying sprinkler parts when I saw it. $999.00. Yes $999.00 anyway. I knew it wouldn’t fit in the suburban fully assembled so headed down the hill to get my 3/4 ton truck..which has a camper shell. They tried to help me load it to find that it too wouldn’t fit either. Discussed taking the lid and hinge off but the employee that put it together almost 4 years ago. Yes 4 years says that was a B to get on I wouldn’t try and remove it. Long story short had to borrow a work truck with no shell to finally get it home 🤣 bet I spent 200 bucks in fuel just trying to get that beast home.

So can you get it in a highlander…maybe…with tools!
