Roastin up some hatch chilis

Picked up some hatch chilis from the grocery store. Figured I'd roast them up this morning.

Nope, the are New Mexico hatch chilis. My local Raley's has them every year at this time. They have a separate special section for these. I wait for them every year. I'm going to pick up more tomorrow. I froze this last batch. Made some hatch hockey pucks then vac packed them.

Cool way to freeze them up. I didn't mean to infer that you subbed with Anaheim's. That's what I had to do. Heading to our Raley's tomorrow.
