Roast Beef Sliders - Recipe Help

My MIL wants me to bring mini roast beef sandwiches for Christmas Eve. We are having an appetizer spread and everyone is requested to bring one hot and one cold item.

Does anyone have a reccipe for a simple roast beef that I could slice thin and serve on slider buns perhaps with a little horseradish sauce? Would you serve cold or hot?

Patrick, here's a very simple easy Top Round Post that should work fine for your sliders. (scroll almost to the bottom of the post to see the sliced finished product) Basically, salt and pepper a top round roast, cook indirect in the 245º-260º range until you hit around 105º-110º, remove from heat and crank the heat up to around 350º-400º and finish with a sear on all sides until you hit 125º-130º. Slice paper thin and serve with horseradish and thin sliced onions.

Well MD Pit Beef comes to mind.

Thanks Larry for the suggestion here. I made the recipe using Eye of the Round last night for a test run to see how it would turn out. All I can say is, it was excellent. My 7 year old son had 2 samwiches and a pile of roast beef after he had already finished his first dinner of Annies Mac & Cheese. We loved it.
