cooked at riverfest in decatur this past weekend... this was our 3rd comp ever... out of 40 backyard teams we finished 2nd in chicken and 28th in ribs. 12th overall... no idea what happened to our ribs! still was very excited about the chicken....

cookers set up.. we dont cook on the bottom racks at comps so we have 3 22's for ribs and 3 18's and a bubba keg for chickens

and mark, i would love to turn pro but i think we need some practice at these two meats first then dive into brisket and pork... a lot of people had things to say about our cookers!!! they usually do...

i de-boned the thighs. and try to trim them as close as possible but you see how that worked!!!

Congrats on the chicken Stuart. We (Smoke Me Silly BBQ Team) got 4th in Ribs and 19th in chicken. Shoot, maybe next time we should team up. With your chicken and my ribs, we could probably take first place....
