Ribs I almost threw away!!

Last year for the Skeeter BBQ I bought 2 Cases of Ribs which I’ll never do again. 2 Racks on the Bottom had so much Fat on them I was going to throw them away. I remembered they were still in the Freezer so thought I’d try to salvage them. This mound of Fat I trimmed off was from 1 Rack.
Anyway I trimmed them, shaped them up as good as I could, removed the Flap & Membrane & applied 3 Layers of Flavor front & back. Be interesting to see how these turn out!!

Render the fat into lard. Also render beef fat into tallow. You can also render chicken fat into smoltz but I don't get much chicken fat. The fat off my last brisket rendered into at least a pint of nice white tallow and am still using it for frying, lubing the grills (keepers and flippers), and my cast iron cookware. It only took I think an hour in the pressure cooker.
