Hi guys,
I am new here to the forum and restoring kettles.
I did some searching on the forum and think I found my answer to this question.
Is the fade in this lid finish something that can be restored? When I picked it up from the owner I asked him what the cause was and he thought it was caused by the Weber cover.
In person it looks like it is faded through but before I give up hope I wonder if it is oxidation or something like that can be brought back.
From what I found searching here it seems like it is toast but I thought I would ask anyway?
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Charlie
