Requesting Help: Door Fix - Genesis 310 (2013)

This cabinet door is missing something that allows it to sit into the bottom door bracket.

Does anyone have experience fixing this door?
I could take apart the other door (photo below) but don’t want to break something in the process (which is my luck).

Can it be fixed with simple nuts and bolts from the hardware store, or will I need to pop the rivets and take the door itself apart?

I just salvaged some chocolate colored doors that were working fine.

My photos look the same as yours. This is the bottom of a door

Thanks! Can you tell if that “nub” end has the screw threading into it? Like are they multiple parts combined together?

Or is it all one component? Any idea what those are called if I can find one to purchase online, or does anyone have a good way to cobble together some nuts and bolts to make my own?

I guess I don't see your problem. The nut and post should be mounted in the flange at the bottom of the grill frame. Then the hole in the bottom of the door should fit over that small post. Once the bottom of the door is on that post, you depress the post at the top of the door and let it snap into the flange at the top of the door.

The grill is missing that entire part (the bottom post that the door sits on).

OH. I think you could grab a bolt, likely 1/4" that is about 3/4" long. Then put it up through that flange and screw a nut down on the bolt. Should be good to go. I suggest Stainless nut and bolt.

Thanks I’ll stop by the hardware store tomorrow and try that out!

I’m assuming those are solid gold, and the nuts are pure platinum at that price? 😂🤢
I don’t know if I could justify that due to principal alone lol that’s wild

I will take a look at the other doors I have to see if there is a missing door part.
