Replacement grates?

Rehabbing two Genesis for some high school grad gifts

If they were for me I'd buy the rcplane rod grates but they're not and I'm on a budget. I'll still likely buy his Flavor bars unless I can get some o for cheap. Anyone got any top secret places or ideas

If you are on a budget you might want to consider River's Edge. They are inferior to rcplaners but I have and they work ok.

I'm thinking more Along the lines of the oem stamped like ss ones

These things are going to be burning burgers dogs and maybe a tritip when they're feeling rich

IMO that is even worse than the oem grates which are poor at best. At 5/8" spacing you can drop an entire steak through there! Forget about trying to grill veg, or shrimp. Better off buying the Weber porcelain cast iron grates at 1/2 the cost. And at $96 it's not saving THAT much over RC's grates. And yes you are better off with the stamped grates

I've used this company before for grates. Good quality. A step down from rcplaner but still very good grates.
