Well for sure appreciate your service. I can't compare photos of this uncle to the one who served on the LST. As I honestly never saw a photo of him in person. But this uncle I've see a couple photos in his "cracker jacks" and his cap was always tilted. All the photos I've seen of him were after he'd been in combat situations. Never saw one prior to it from his time at Great Lakes.

Dad acquired some cool stuff that you submariners may appreciate. I'm not sure where he got the Russian pins. That's him in the late 50's, early 60's. I think that's the Angler.
