Remedy for Paint Scratch on Door

While transporting my recently acquired Genesis E310, I placed the lid on top of the cabinet doors and scratched it as shown in the pictures below. I should have used a moving blanket in between. 1 and 2 are the close up.

Are there any remedies to this? Perhaps a pen like those infomercials advertise for cars or a black wax? I prefer NOT to paint the whole door again.

Model paint comes in a wide variety of shades and colors and would be perfect for your situation for touchups.

I have been mistaken all along. I thought those doors were enamelled like the lid.

Nope. Paint. I guess similar to frame type paint

Black sharpie.

If it is not too deep maybe rubbing some stove black in them and then waxing them would do it.

They do make paint pens as well that work just like a sharpie but are actually paint and not ink. Much more durable.

Truth! So long as my grills are working well, I can deal with a scratch or two. They’re not museum pieces.
