In a recent thread, I saw Tri-tip, $2.99 a lb. This price is regional as well as the availability.

The price of BBQ meats below vary from region to region(as well as availability). Is there any interest in knowing the prices of meat in other regions (with the help of this board)? Also, any other meats to add?

Region - Southern California

Pork Butt bone in - .79-.99 on sale. Also used for carnitas so prices are competitive.
Pork Butt boneless - 1.59 costco
Baby Backs - 2.99 costco
Spares - 3.99 costco
Tri-tip - $2.99 Supermarket price on sale. Regular price $3.99 to $5.79
Flats -
Whole Packers - $1.79 on sale at Smart and Final. Not available at many other stores.

I will edit this post when I get other prices.

IMO, there is a BIG price difference (at least around here) between regular supermarkets and the likes of, say, costco. My costco is 20 miles away so I usually shop at the local guys. Prices are...

Bone in B Butt--$1.80
Spares--$2.79 (always)
B backs-$4-6 (I don't buy them much)
Tri--$5.80
