I'm looking for an easy way to organize all of the various recipes I have found on this site and others. Does anyone have any recomendations for an easy to use cookbook program. I'm looking for something that I can import recipes into and make modifications and notes about each recipe used. I remember reading about one such program here, but I can't find the post about it. Thanks,
Don

I use MasterCook 6, can make own cookbooks, E-mail (both send and recieve), does converting to size of group feeding, hold 1000's of recipes.

MasterCook 6.0 seems to be the most popular cookbook program out there. I've had it for 2 or 3 years and am quite pleased with it, although I mostly use it for nutritional information. Here are some URLs that might be informative:

This one's for the forums which would give you an idea of the users' comments. You might have to register, though. See the thread entitled "Ask HERE About MC6 - If Thinking of Buying":

A couple of others that might be helpful:

Well! In checking these sites, I see that MasterCook is being cancelled! Hopefully someone will pick it up -- see:

But that won't keep me from using what I have and enjoying it. I found mine at Costco and now, if you see it, it will probably be a good deal. I don't know of any others that are ongoing, but if you find any, I'd like to hear about them too.

Best luck,
Rita

Thanks for the information. I was able to find a copy of MasterCook 6.0 at a local discount store. Last one they had. As it was only $13 I guess if it helps even a little bit it will be worth it. Thanks again.
