Re Ninja Woodfire issues I reported on

So a while back I think it was Jon I responded to re my Ninja giving me some "issues" with the pellet side of things. Sorry for the late response and also I cannot find where I'd made that actual response. So I am simply posting an update. On a whim I went to Harbor Freight (not important as to the store it's just where I bought these) https://www.harborfreight.com/home/cleaning/brooms/wire-brushes/detail-brush-set-3-piece-69638.html and these https://www.harborfreight.com/tube-brush-set-6-piece-61923.html
And I went to town cleaning the pellet hopper itself of carbon and creosote and used the small rounded ones to get up into the "channel" that brings smoke into the cooking area.
Happy to say it's now back to doing what it's supposed to do. Making some darn good food.

Good to hear, Larry! I guess I haven’t used mine enough yet to fully gum it up, but cleaning tools like you linked will be on my near horizon.

I have to say that these things have an amazing cooking ability. The Ninja FlexFlame full grill looks pretty inviting, even given the somewhat questionable choice to use thin porcelain covered steel in the firebox.
