My wife has started to close all the loop holes
First it was no new charcoal grills or smokers could be purchased
The no used purchases
I am also on thin ice with the roadside rescues.

Maybe reframe your argument… Ask her if she’d leave an orphan child on the side of the road without food, warmth, or shelter. Rescuing… that’s just what you are doing with the grill. You just want to clean it up, provide it with food, warmth, and a cover for shelter until it can get back on its feet. It’s your civic duty.
