Question about tomorrows cook

Going to cook beef ribs and chicken wings tomorrow. Going to use the 3,2,1 method for the ribs and plan on throwing the wings on the last two hours. Can I add wood for the wings without it affecting the ribs that far into the cook?

If the ribs are foiled tight, no problem. Also, beef can take more smoke than pork. Be careful with wings though as they need very little smoke. Consider finishing them on a grill for crispiness.
