Just got mine today...reads boiling at 212 just like it should! My questions...

1. Will I crush the probe wires under the lid on the WSM?

2. Is there any easy way to straighten the probe cords so they are not all curly q'ing up?

If you set the lid down with care, its weight will not damage the cable. Try to position its exit under the lid in such a way that it does not get kinked. The coiling will relax in time-- just hang them up from something for a few hours and let their own weight straighten them out some.

That is a sweet idea. I run them through the upper vent in the lid, but it is kind of a pain in the butt.
