i know i have brought this up before and hate to babble about it but here goes.
i started having lighting issues. but i knew it was not the tank, etc cuz once lit it was
up to 550 quickly enough.
so today i went out and checked the burner with the grate off. and yep, it just didn't want
to light and when it did the flame just didn't spread. spark was fine. so i was curiouse about the shield over the
spark generator end. turns out the tip was not over the hole. read the manual. so i got that straightend out.
but i also noticed that some of the burner holes were plugged. this is what i brought up before, cleaning the
holes regularly. they seem to plug quicker than one would think. so i cleaned them out using a welders
torch tip hole cleaning tool. after that i turned the gas on and it lit up and spread immediately.
and it has a nice even flame.
so keep those burner holes cleaned out !
