I've got 5lbs. of pulled Renowned Mr. Brown on hand and I am searching for another sauce to try on sandwiches. I keep some modified Paul Kirk All-Purpose Texas BBQ Sauce (thinner, more beer, more water)on hand and doctored it into his Memphis style by adding a little yellow mustard, allspice and cinnamon. That worked out pretty good but I'm still looking for something else. I've tried a couple of vinegar based sauces but I always seem to come back to tomato/ketchup based sauces. Anybody got a favorite that really works well on pork sandwiches?

My favorite is the Eastern North Carolina vinegar/pepper sauces. I find they enhance the pork flavor.

I agree Bob, and you can add ketchup to it if you like for Western NC sauce.
