Puff pastry

I bumped into a couple puff pastry videos on YouTube the other day.
They looked like a lot of fun and you can get pretty creative with what you do.
This is my first attempt and presentation wise I didn’t do it any justice but it was yummy.

EVO on parchment
Add tomatoes
Italian spices
Pastrami (phostrami)
Green onion
Mozzarella cheese slice
Egg scrambled but cooked flat
Top off with puff pastry dough
Wash with egg
Add sesame seeds
Bake 25 minutes +/-
Done

I might substitute everything bagel for the Italian spice next time.
I will definitely be making other ideas like smoked meatloaf in a bun, maybe lox or maybe ……..

Interesting, why just topping with the PP? If you dock (poke holes in) the bottom layer it shouldn’t puff too much, they look pretty tasty anyway!! But, I would expect nothing less from you Andy!
 
That looks pretty tasty to me and trying new recipes, makes it so much fun. Keep up the great job you are doing Andy.
