Proportional integral derivative for XL size Big Green Egg

Just curious if anyone has tweaked their PID for an extra large big green egg. I know that Brian made the default settings for a large sized egg.

My gut feeling is that they would be the same.

It took almost 4 hours to get close to the target temp. I did change the max fan output to 10%. That seemed to help

Looking at your graph, things don't look too terrible. It looks like you had an overshoot at the start and it took quite a while to get it under control. What's your blower and/or damper setup?

Rotodamper with BBQ Guru adapter plate.

PID and fan settings were default when I started. I changed the max fan output to 10% when I saw that huge overshoot.
