Hey there-
Scored a Genesis 1000 from the curbside trash during spring cleaning and started my restoration. Most of the labor will be free as I have the high school auto kids tackling all the tough work (being a high school teacher has it's advantages!).
Anyway it had the quick release metal piece on the regulator. I kept the regulator and swapped out a different fitting at the end. I noticed I was getting pretty low flow on the bars coming out of the fire boxes but I think it's due to a pretty empty tank
My question:
The middle valve on the middle bar is stuck on the manifold. I can't really find a replacement manifold on line.
Can you rebuild the manifold easy (the valves)?
Where can you buy a replacement manifold with valves on it?
Also could there be any associated issues w/ installing the other fitting on the end of the regulator? You can see the new fitting in the picture below the manifold.
