Probe port grommet for WSK

I realize my application via a WSM 22 is different then the WSK, however I wanted to share my set-up with the metal plugs & a BBQ Guru Port. Also, these metal plugs are far from being rare or hard to find, they are available at any of the big box stores, ie. Lowes's H.D. etc.

IMO, no fan is needed on the WSK. In two years I’ve never had a need for one and have done LAS cooks at 220° on overnights, multiple times and with great success.

I too had one of these on my WSM 22.
I transferred it to the WSK without any problems.

I doubt a probe would fit through the adaptor without some mods.

I'd have to dismantle mine to try it but I wonder if the Guru kill plug fits the hole in the WSK?

Alternatively I've found silicone grommets online. All shapes and sizes available.
