"Preparing Safer Jerky" PDF

Looks like sound advice. I never have tried the ultra-safe boiling method; just doesn't seem like real jerky.

Rita, how did the recent storms affect you? My brother in Lawrenceville had a lot of rain and wind but no damage.

Paul, thanks for asking. We're about 8 miles north of the center of the city of Atlanta, so like your brother, we had a lot of wind and rain and a spectacular light and sound show. Weber, our golden retriever, was not a happy boy!

I lost my 14 year old Black Lab in December, so it is nice to see such a young happy face on a 4 legged friend.

A friend of mine trains for Canine Companions here on Long Island, you VERY lucky to get Weber. Around here it is nearly impossible to get one that had o leave the program. (LONG waiting list)

If you ever here of another one near you, please
keep me in mind.

(Sorry to everyone else for going off topic.)

Michele, if you would email me, we can continue this conversation. My email is in my profile. I've been a member of this stellar group for almost 7 years and have never had a problem.

After a bad day, they always make it better. Being a carpenter, that is a great looking deck you have there
Timothy

Timothy, have to love those dogs, right? Thanks for the comment about the deck. That was the old one, which was getting rickety and we finally had it replaced a couple of months ago. The new one is a work of art, imo!
