Pouring rain, smoking wood

Ahhhhhhhh, the smell of smoking wood makes even a pouring morning seem just right. I am cooking up a couple Butts for friends tonight. Made slaw, a couple of sauces, life is good. OK, it might be nicer to take a nap in my hammock as the smell of wood wafts past, but we need these seasonal challenges right!

Yeah, I kinda agree with you on that smokin' wood smell. I particularly love the smell when I use cherry wood. The smell brings back memories from my childhood (I know, that's kinda strange, too).
