Recently encountered a problem with my burners going out on anything lower than medium.
After exhausting all the typical troubleshooting without changing the undesired behavior, e.g. cleaning burner eyes, adjusting burner vents, tank reset and replacement, replacing the regulator and hose, etc., my attention switched to the manifold and valves, the latter I had previously dismissed since it was occurring on all three burners.
As it turned out, all three of the valves were clogged due to over lubrication. After thorough cleaning and carefully reapplying a thin layer of lube only above and below the eyelets so as not to avoid reaccumulating during normal operation, all three burners now maintain proper flame on all settings.
