Pizza on the Weber

So these pictures are from my 2nd attempt at making pizza on the Weber, the results were much better than the 1st time.

My heat source was toward the back with no direct heat under the stone but I am wondering if that was a mistake and there should be heat under the stone as well.

Looking for any insights any of you fine people might have with the set-up that I have going on here. It would be greatly appreciated.

You have to use a lot of wood if you want high temps. The fuel should be around the back of the kettle & not underneath the stone. You also have to turn the pie frequently to ensure proper doneness.
