Try this: 1 cup water, 3 cup white vinegar, 1/3 cup olive oil, 1 tsp. salt. Heat mixture to boiling. Place washed peppers in a Mason jar, pour hot liquid over peppers and seal the jar tight. Place the jars in a boiling water bath 10 minutes, remove the jars and cool to room temperature. When the jars have sealed, store at room temperature. After opening jars, I place them in the fridge. I have used this receipe for Habaneros, Jalapenos, and any other pepper I wanted to preserve. Good luck.
