Pellet Storage

Just curious. So, I bought a $%&tload of the 5 gal buckets at Menards. They hold about 20lbs (so 1 bag per 2 buckets). Much easier to stack and store but I have a garage full. I REALLY need to get my garage ready for winter (and it is PAINFULLY small) for a so called 2 car. Anyone can witness the hole in the back wall from when we had our old F150 Super Cab. (hole in back wall and cleared door by maybe 2 or 3").
So, I need to keep the Member's Mark in there, my snowblower, and my tools. No bueno right now with all those buckets LOL. I have them sealed up, Lids all snapped on. Could I tuck a bunch of them under the eaves on my deck for the winter? If lids are snapped on I don't think moisture (or cold) should be an issue. Heck Big Z sits out there with a full hopper all the time. All I do is throw the cover over it when done cooking. Have not had any issue there. Despite temp changes and plenty of rain storms and humidity.

Yea they will be fine. I don't know how many 5 gallon buckets of drywall mud and paint I've had over the years but they all stayed good as new with the covers snapped on.

Maintaining my history of thoughtful recommendations: I would store the buckets in the bedroom or ask the Wife to park in the driveway.

BTW, when I was 16 I drove the '74 Pinto into the family room.
There is a whole funny story about my dad, driving his big Mercury Grand Marquis de Sade into the dining room wall and then having the back wall of his garage begin to collapse. So he had to leave the car in the wall until my brother and my uncle could get there and brace the ceiling from collapsing in the dining room and garage before they could pull the car back. And he managed to do this only 2 weeks ahead of our huge XMass eve feast of 7 fishes. They got the whole wall rebuilt in time BTW
