PCBGRIP: Electronics Assembly System


 
That is cool. I have the standard Panavise PCB assembler but the ability to holder several parts at once upside down is awesome.

Here at work we have a PCB assembly department used for small production parts. Thay have something where you put all your parts in and then a foam board comes down over the whole assembly to hold the parts in place when you flip it upside down. I have tried figuring something like that out but haven't come up with anything yet.
 
That is pretty nifty. Seems pretty expensive for some clips and stuff, but I never understood why the Panavises are that expensive either (although I own one of those). At first I thought, well that won't hold a PCB stencil any better than some scrap PCBs taped to a table... oh I guess that is a little better.

If I had space in the HeaterMeter Labs I'd totally want one of these.
