All,

I have posted awhile back and now have a 18" wsm and have been playing around with basic stamp so have a very easy access to pwm for the blower control.

For those who have made their own system what part #'s did you use for the fan and for the temperature sensor(s)? I have read through a few posts and some people use replacement probes from off the shelf temp monitors. If so let me know as these seem to be cheaper to order than a new thermister/thermocouple from omega.

They are using Maverick replacement probes. I built an analog controller using Polder probes. Either way you'll need a data sheet for it or you can do your own Time vs Resistance chart.
