For Christmas I received a panini press. Yesterday I tried smoked turkey with cranberry sauce with cheese and sun dried tomatoes which came out heavenly. Anybody have any ideas to make a good sandwich? Please be specific as to type of bread and also what kind of condiments to use (if any). Thanks.

well eric, for a sweet snack try nutella spread with a white bread or sourdough. be carefull you will be sorry. they are really addicting.

I personally like pesto spread(sauce) with sliced tomato, some sundried tomatoes in oil, and motzarella cheese pressed between a soft sandwich roll.
 
your welcome, If you like pizza, get some pizza sauce and pepperoni, and cheese you can make a pizza panini. my kid lives on those.
