Painting top frame, high heat or regular paint?

Use high heat paint they get plenty hot

Ok, I'm convinced. Unfortunately I cannot find matte paint. I hope it won't be too shiny.

The inside of the firebox should be left unpainted... The grease from your cooks will keep it protected from corrosion.

Any idea for the warming ráck and basket? I had them sand blasted but need tips for surface treatment... Simply burn some grease onto them?
