Weber does do that.......they call it the "Black Line" but they are not available in North America, only over seas that I've seen.

Yep, it's the smoothness and sheen (not so much the color) on Tony's that stands out.Agreed, Troy's finish is sharper, but black has been done by Weber, just sayin'
Looks smoother than the porcelain finish on a typical kettle.
Trophy grade Q right there.
