paint question

sup folks?

got a 96 performer at goodwill for 25 bux, the lid was an 02... could not believe it, pretty trashed, but got it up too speed.. is there a blue high heat paint out there that i could use too touchup the rusted edges??? just got the sweeping kit from weber, so the turkey will rock on the blue bomb thursday!!!

if they are small chips, etc i wouldjust treat them with pam. if bigger then look for some high heat paint. blue might be hard.

thanx george.. yep high heat blue looks like it might be hard too find.. just amazing how bad this thing was sitting on the floor at good will with trashed charcoal in it and a quick connect 5lb worn out propane tank attached..lol

Can you post a picture. I'm sure you can find a paint to match it. Check this thread, that is how I matched the paint for my redhead restoration, I'm sure we can figure out how get you something close.

I actually picked up an old Blue platinum today. It has some chips, I'll have to match the color. It's interesting I have two blue grills and they are not the same color at all. You really need to match the color to your specific grill.
