Orange County, CA - Looking for Choice Brisket packers?

Anyone know of a good source for Choice Brisket packers in Orange County California? I used to find them occasionaly at Smart and Final, but it seams that once they started focusing more on groceries, all I can find there are Selects.
 
You can try Plow Boys in Fountain Valley, corner of Warner and Magnolia, and for your best beef, the Beef Palace in Huntington Beach, Springfield and Warner.
 
Costco and Sams Club have the choice briskets. Sometimes they are not out in the store .You have to ask for them.Most their customers want the half trimmed type. At the Sams I go to, when asked they will bring a few so I can choose.
 
This won't help you find meat, but I drive to Orange County now and then to buy my smoke wood. I go to a place called The Woodshed. They're very helpful and have a lot of interesting choices (including oak wine barrel chunks). Last time I was there i bought the barrel chunks as well as red oak (for Santa Maria tri-tip) and apple wood.

I highly recommend them.

Nope, didn't know they were having a sale. Last time I stop by I picked up 4 gunny sacks and I am just now startng to think it's time to get some more.

Sounds like it's time. Guess I know where I'm headin tomorrow.

Shame is, my wife drives right by them everyday on the way to work, but she won't pick any up for me.
 
Have Mike put you on the mailing list, mostly firewood on sale but sometimes cooking wood too.

Have you had a chance to try either store yet?
