Can anyone tell me if Sam's club sells the NU-701 wireless unit. I'd like to use 2 probes, 1 for the cooking grate and 1 in the meat. Of course, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
I bought the Maverick dual probe remote thermomter from Fantes for $59.99 plus S/H. I have no idea how it compares to the NU-701 but it seems like a good thermo to me. I've used it twice now and it seems to work pretty good. It was nice to be able to read the temps in the smoker without having to actually walk out back.
What to others think of the Maverick thermo? Is it a good thermo? Is $60 a decent price for it?
