Hello friends, Dan here from the AZ desert. just picked up this hobby recently after a buddy of mine gifted me his old Weber kettle in yellow! Would love to learn a little more history on this beauty. Also I would love to restore or possibly find a new wood handle for the top if anyone can help thank you!

Welcome Daniel,

Looks like an 18 inch. Hard to tell if there is a date code on the top vent or not.

You might look here and get closer to the age of it.

I'm sure someone has a current link for a replacement wood handle or even some custom ones.

They're easy to find on Et

They're easy to find on Etsy.
Thanks I will check them out!

That's a beautiful grill! Great buddy you have.😀

Another source you can consider for handles are "Zavod" handles. Here is a link to his Ebay (executor70) page. They are not cheap, but
they are quality and he will customize your handle any way you want.

Also - I just happen to be in the market for a yellow 18, so please keep me in mind if you decide you'd rather have a new grill. ;)
But in the meantime, enjoy your beautiful gift!
