Does anybody know if Performers are still available without the gas ignition in Europe? I like the traditional charcoal wait to enjoy a couple of chill out ales.

I've always used a chimney to start charcoal on my Performer and it still takes about 20-30min to get hot.

Noe is right. I have the -08 Platinum 22" but i sure would love a performer.
Dont know if the platinum above -08 is made with a term in the lid.(one thing i miss)
No charcoal basket, I can live without that.
Other then that is a fantastic grill/smoker!
If you use a chimney like me the coals are screaming your name after 15 min,and the grill/grates is up to temp in another 3 min.
Kill the leftover lump/briq in no time and ready to use again.
