Newbie question Re minion method

Here's an excerpt from the "minion method" page:

"When it reaches 200°F, adjust all three bottom vents to 25% open and monitor the temp carefully until it reaches 225-250°F. Adjust the vents as necessary to maintain this temp."

QUESTION: Are these the temps as measured from the dome or the cooking surface?

Cooking grate temps. 225 - 235 is the temp you want to cook at so that's where you measure the temps at the cooking grate.
 
I take that to mean at the cooking grate. If measuring at the dome, add 10-15°, and assume that a reading of 235 or 240 there equates to 225 at the top grate.
