New WSM 18.5 owner... From North Dakota living in Pitt

Yesterday I picked up my new WSM. I moved my family from North Dakota to Pittsburgh and had to leave the UDS I built up there. Saturday I will try out the new smoker. I have spent hours on this forum over the last couple of days reading everyones tips on using the WSM. I have read so many threads on 'to foil or not to foil' and 'water, sand or dry' that I dont know if I am more or less ready to smoke. I will give updates on Saturday(with pics) telling how it goes.

It will be my first time burning charcoal and wood in the smoker so I will propably just do boston butt..... that is nice and forgiving as I get things figured out.
