New Weber owner from Indiana

Ok BRAND NEW WEBER OWNER HERE !
I am so excited , I have never owned a Weber kettle!
I have always made due with the cheap knock off kettles and I have done OK, BUT I have always envied the Weber owners !
My wife bought me a One-Touch Platinum (maroon color) at our local Ace hardware. She got it on sale for $220, hope she didn't overpay but at least I'm a new proud Weber owner:)
I'm looking forward to learning from this site and sharing what I can with you all.
Now all I have too do is decide on what my first cook shouls be, I'm thinking chuckies but not sure,
any suggestions?

I just replaced my original 22 kettle this year with a garage sale otg.

Thanks guys, I'm not sure why I can't post pictures it says I'm not allowed. Maybe because I'm a new member?
Anyway I have a quick question for you seasoned kettle users, is the temperature gauge on the lid fairly accurate or not?
