New to me Q200 anything I need to do to is right away?

I am off tomorrow (ie thursday) I will clean the tube and lite as follows. As I remember the flame was blue, but just low. I will keep all posted. maybe I turned it on to quickly?

I think I am cooking ham tomorrow, from the weber cookbook. Hopefully, pictures will follow.
