New Stove

So went to see my dad yesterday and make him dinner. We're sitting in the kitchen talking and nice power surge comes through. Lights go bright, power shuts off than comes on. Notice the stove. Cannot get it to "unlock". He'd been having a little issue with the main circuit/control board. But it still worked, Well that finished it off. So gotta head back there this AM and take him to ABT so he can hopefully get a new installed b4 Christmas Eve

Well..... could be worse. Could have done that with dinner in the oven. And there are much worse places than Abt to go.

Yep. We ended up choosing a GE stove. I have a thing about GE. I don't really like their appliances. However the thing was that for how my 94yo dad would need one it fit his needs more than anything else, he got a fantastic deal as well since he dealt with a contact my brother sends all his business stuff through. So he ended up getting it for $200 off even the discounted ABT price, and the guy was able to set up delivery on Christmas Eve just in time to save the day
