Now I'm searching for a good used Weber gasser to round out the family. My children think I have a problem?! I used the GA charcoal at the beach last week and it cranked out great food. Enjoy

Bill- Yes, I've definitely got the sickness! My bride loves it though because the food has been great and we've never had so much fun cooking.

Matt- Awesome pics and collection there!!

The Performer arrived earlier than expected. Took off the afternoon so I could assemble it. Went together nicely. Looks great! Will post some pics tomorrow.

Then had the in laws over for some some pork loin roast on the rotisserie. It was really juicy and had amazing flavor. Everybody really liked it.

It just keeps getting better and better!!

Hey Paulie! It's a great addition to the back deck! Cooked up some mean wings on it last night...mmmmmmm good!

Mike that looks like a picture from a Weber magazine. Beautiful just beautiful. I'm glad to here you and the wife are cooking together, it makes for a lot of fun and some great memories. Good luck and good cooking.

Bill

Bill- Thanks a lot. It is great to cook with the wife!

Matt- Yes, I really do love it. Never thought cooking could be so much fun. Looking forward to learning a lot on this forum.

Firing up the performer as we speak to cook some bacon wrapped filets. Normally I use the gasser for steaks but want to try the charcoal method. It's been years since I've cooked with charcoal. I have cooked many good meals on the wood camp fire though. Camping and hunting are passions of mine but as I get a little older, I enjoy the food and the camaraderie more than anything!
