Thanks for those remarks, i was in hurry to get the lid on and start the Curing process as i had only few hours of 60 deg temps. Just quickly took handles and put on and after taken pic i did the curing . after all finished i then replaced proper way. Sorry i wasn't more careful . I think i did great job overall, and today i cooked a great Steak and i feel with the proper Curing like instructions stated I'm happy.

jerry;)

I know the feeling Jerry. I was in such a rush to assemble my new Performer this past summer that I installed the lower rack on back wards. Of course I didn't notice until I went to install the Char Bin; one of last steps in the assemlby. Sucked having to take it all apart. D'oh!

Your grill looks awesome. Looks identical to a production piece. I love those little Q's. Great job!

Thanks Chris Z, today i took my lid off again to Drill a hole for the Thermo, ill put pic on here after finish. I took my set of Titanium drill bits. started w/ smallest bit and worked carefully ( 9 Bits till i reached 3/8in hole ) just to make sure i didn't ruin the lid or crack the cast. Worked Great finished it and added some High RV heat calking. screw into lid and letting it dry cured. While i was at it , I installed new igniter that i bought about year ago LOL.Unit looks brand new .Tested the 20lb tank w/ adapter all good to roll.I see a nice Steak waiting to be christian on the grill. I have a performer coming next week 2015 Green , traded my Kamado Smoker and with the money got my i think overall the best multi cooking Machine. lol
