Hello All from the Southside of Atlanta!
After much deliberation and planning, I picked up a Weber Genesis II E410 this morning. I absolutely cannot wait to give this puppy a run tonight with a couple ribeyes for my wife and I. I wound up getting the "Smoke" finish as that's what they had in stock at my local big box and I really had no preference except that I didn't want the crimson finish.
I spent an inordinate amount of time researching the grill and reading reviews and posts (a lot of those were here on this forum, so thanks for your input!).
I had an older charcoal grill that was in disrepair when I received it, but with the Georgia humidity really needed to be replaced. I've been searing steaks inside on the cast iron skillet and finishing them off in the oven at 500F, as well as cooking burgers indoors since the fall. I'm looking forward to taking this pastime back outside!
Happy Grilling!
